Getting around LAS

Terminals

Terminal 1 (A, B, C and D gates) and Terminal 3 (D and E gates).

Changing terminals

The two terminal buildings aren't connected outside security, but every gate is linked inside it: trams run between Terminal 1 and the C and D gates, and between Terminal 3 and the D gates.

Customs and international arrivals

Arriving from abroad, you clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), collect your checked bags, drop them at the recheck belt and go through TSA security again before your connection. International flights arrive at Terminal 3 (E gates).

Tips for connecting at LAS

  • •Southwest flies mostly from the B and C gates in Terminal 1.

LAS connection FAQ

Airlines set their own official minimums at LAS and only sell connections that meet them, so a one-ticket itinerary is always "legal". In practice we recommend at least 50 min for a domestic connection, 1 h 5 min when you change terminals and 2 h 20 min after an international arrival.
