This policy explains what information Good Flight Deals collects when you use goodflightdeals.com and our deal alerts, and how we use it. We don't sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account details from Google: your name, email address and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
- Preferences: the departure airports and destinations you choose, and your membership status.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep a Stripe customer ID and your subscription status.
- Phone number: if you opt in to SMS alerts.
- Usage data: pages visited and general device information, collected with Google Analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To send flight-deal alerts for your airports by email and, if you opt in, SMS.
- To run your account, process payments and send receipts and trial reminders.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To respond when you contact us.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the Service for us, under their own privacy terms:
- Google (Firebase sign-in and Google Analytics)
- Stripe (payments)
- MongoDB Atlas (database hosting)
- Our email and SMS delivery providers
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from deal emails using the link in any email.
- Change your airports or cancel your membership anytime from your Account page.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing hello@goodflightdeals.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Retention and security
We keep your information while your account is open and as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete it. Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access is limited to what's needed to run the Service.
Children
The Service isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and notify members by email.
