SWISS carry-on rules by fare
Economy Basic
Economy Basic on European routes includes only a personal item (40 × 30 × 15 cm), no carry-on, checked bag or seat choice. Economy Light keeps the 8 kg carry-on, and Miles & More Senators and Star Alliance Gold members may still bring one.
Higher fares
Standard and premium fares include a carry-on and a personal item.
Checked bags
On flights between the U.S. and Switzerland, SWISS includes one bag of up to 23 kg (50 lb) with Economy Classic; Economy Light includes no checked bag. Extra bags are priced when you book. All SWISS bag fees
